Asian Noodles Stir Fry

1 lb. any meat - beef, chicken, pork, shrimp – cut into thin strips

2 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Oil

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

3 cups broccoli florets

2 carrots, peeled and sliced

1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained

2 green onions with tops, sliced

2 cups water

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon Saba Balsamic Vinegar

2 (3 oz.) packages of ramen noodles with the seasoning packets (any flavor)

½ red bell pepper, sliced


Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meat and cook about 4 minutes, stirring. Remove to a dish and set aside. Add the garlic and ginger to the skillet and cook about 2 minutes.  Add the broccoli, carrots and water chestnuts.  Stir fry until tender crisp.


Add the water and soy sauce to the skillet with the vegetables. Sprinkle the seasoning packets in and stir together.  Bring to a boil and add the ramen noodles. (You can break them in half if it’s easier.)  Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes or until noodles are tender and most of the water is absorbed. Return the meat to the skillet and heat through.  Sprinkle the green onions on top and serve.
