Greek Burger
Greek Lamb burger

This is my go-to burger when I want to change up my normal cheeseburger.  It's just yummy.


1 lb. ground lamb or turkey

1/2 cup finely chopped onion

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1-2 cloves garlic, minced

2+ tablespoons Milanese Gremolata Olive Oil

1/2 cup crumbled feta, plus more for building your burger

Optional aioli:

3/4 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons Milanese Gremolata Olive Oil

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tablespoon slivered fresh mint (optional)

4 hamburger buns

2 large handfuls fresh baby spinach

4 tomato slices

3/4 cup crumbled feta

Combine the lamb and remaining burger ingredients in a medium bowl.  Pat lightly into 4 burgers.  Heat some oil in a large skillet over medium high heat or heat your grill.  Grill the burgers until done, about 4-5 minutes per side.  

To make the Aioli, stir together the yogurt and remaining aioli ingredients.  

To assemble the burgers, spread some Lemon Aioli on each bun.  Add the burger, spinach, tomato and feta.  Serve with a pasta salad for a delicious meal.
