Honey Baked Pears
Honey Roasted Pears

These lovely, easy roasted pears make a wonderful light dessert.  They're even better with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

4 pears

1/4 cup Butter Olive Oil

3 tablespoons honey

3-4 sprigs fresh thyme

Pinch of salt

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Peel and core the pears; cut lengthwise into quarters. 


Place on a parchment lined baking sheet.  Top with the Butter Olive Oil, honey, thyme and salt.  Bake for 1 hour, turning over every 15  minutes.

Serve by themselves or with ice cream or whipped cream.
