Snap Peas & Carrots
Bright and tasty, this veggie dish is perfect with any cuisine. Cardamom gives a gentle warmth and richness when combined with our Butter Olive Oil.
2 cups peeled and sliced carrots
4 cups snap peas or snow peas, sliced across on the diagonal
1 tablespoons honey
1 1/2 tablespoons Butter or Unflavored Olive Oil
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cardamom
Pinch of white or black pepper
Simmer carrots 6-10 minutes in a medium pot of water; drain and return to pot.
Add remainder of the ingredients and saute 4 minutes.
